Recognised by ACS as a Fellow for distinguished contribution to ICT in Australia, including work across the Northern Territory, public-sector innovation, Music Solution for Corrections, Biometrics, Police Watchhouse, NightKey and the NT Digital Excellence Awards.

Good Design Award Australia - NightKey Biometric Identity Management

Recognition for NightKey as a biometric identity-management product concept for licensed hospitality, patron safety and venue security contexts.

Regional iAwards recognition for the Music Solution provided to Northern Territory Correctional Services.

Founder - Northern Territory Digital Excellence Awards

Founded and established the Northern Territory Digital Excellence Awards as an industry-recognition platform for Territory ICT and digital achievement. The inaugural awards were held at Parliament House with about 300 attendees and brought together ACS, AISA, ICTNT, itSMF, Charles Darwin University, sponsors, judges and volunteers around the Northern Territory's Digital Territory agenda. The NTDEA has continued as an established industry fixture recognising innovation, leadership and excellence across the Territory's digital sector.

National iAwards - Public Sector Project of the Year and Infrastructure Platform of the Year, Police Watchhouse

National iAwards recognition for the Police Watchhouse identity-management platform.

2014

AIPM ICT Project of the Year - NT Government Windows 7 Desktop Upgrade

Project-management recognition for the NT Government Windows 7 desktop upgrade program. This project was highly innovative at the time. The requirement was to upgrade over 16,000 computers from Windows XP (32-bit) to Windows 7 (64-bit), whilst delivering in parallel all line of business application upgrades for compatibility with the new OS, automated across the entirety of the Northern Territory. This included high-speed CBD connections and remote connections over satellite services.

Queen's Trust

1996 recipient of The Queen’s Trust for Young Australians, recognising emerging young Australians who demonstrated leadership, initiative and potential for community impact.

University NSW Science Competition - Credit

Early academic achievement in nationwide science competition.

1993

Super Nintendo Champion of Australia

Winner of the National Super Nintendo Championship promoted by both Nintendo Magazine System (NMS) and Nintendo of Australia. This led to an opportunity writing articles for NMS to review new games, provide "game guides" instructing readers on how to complete games as well as responding to fan-mail.
